Atlas of Anatomy App Reviews

This is a collection of drawings from various sources. There are some nice classic pictures, but it is overall oriented more for an anatomist, not someone working in the medical field (physician, med student, physio, etc.)

VERY incomplete atlas. I mean, I wasnt expecting a App version of the Netter but still. Most of the images are black and white simplified illustrations about random anatomy stuff and you can hardly read the name of the structures on the colored plans. Disapointed.

Ive used this app a couple of times on surgery rotation for a quick review before scrubbing in. Has good functions - favorites, search, and expand. Very useful.

Okay, the second screen shot for this app shows the last folder being the sense organs. I buy the app and I dont have that folder. Why not? So I figure Ill go to the authors website to send them an email but they dont have anything besides "coming soon" on their site. I guess they can write an app but cant create a simple website. Please put that folder back in the app or update your app screen shots because if I hadnt seen that folder I wouldnt have bought your (cr)app! Or maybe provide an email address so I can email you directly and not have to write a stupid review.

Much needed update. Now all the categories are present. Rest of the functionality is still there and works great. Easy to use and quick reference for anatomy.

easy to use, helpful quick anatomy review

I bought this app to help me in accelerated a&p. So far, Ive found my handouts and notes to be more effective. For instance, I just took a test that included all of the cranial nerves and their positions. None of the pics in this app included all of the nerves. The ones they did have were incredibley detailed, though. I gave this app four stars based on the ease of use and the amount of detail. Although it didnt do much for me ony last test, Im sure itll come in handy in the future.

After restarting my iPhone several times, and trying multiple times to open the app, I left it "loading" and walked away. To my surprise it was open when I came back! And it opened much faster the next time. Go figure. The app is good for the price. Im not fond of the labeling on Greys illustrations (hard to read) but its a useful app nonetheless.
